Who we are

The Vietnam International Safe Labour Alliance (VISLA) is a network of German-Vietnamese entrepreneurs and policy advocates dedicated to promoting safe labour migration, international policy advocacy, and
capacity-building initiatives. We support the entire migration process for Vietnamese labourers, particularly the most vulnerable, including unskilled and undocumented workers, ensuring their safety, dignity, and integration into German society. With a deep understanding of Vietnam's workforce potential and Germany's skilled labour shortage, we strive to align local aspirations with global opportunities.

Mission

Our mission is to create safe migration pathways for Vietnamese labourers to Germany and other international labour markets, focusing on the skilled and lower-skilled as well as undocumented labour migrants who are often excluded from formal channels. We are committed to fostering stronger intercultural relations, helping labour migrants integrate into society after their arrival, and providing essential resources and training to stakeholders in both Vietnam and destination countries. Through strategic partnerships and effective structures, we aim to build a future where Vietnamese migrants can access fair labour opportunities internationally, free from exploitation and harm while contributing positively to the communities they join.

Bridging Opportunities with Dignity

We envision a world where Vietnamese labour migrants can pursue their aspirations to work abroad safely and with dignity. By ensuring benefits for all involved, we strive to realise the positive change for Vietnam and the labour destination countries. Our goal is to develop effective labour migration and integration policies, programs, and partnerships that prevent exploitation and support the well-being of every Vietnamese migrant.
